Day 1
Zanzibar to Tarangire National Park
Fly early from Zanzibar to Arusha, where your safari guide will meet you. Drive to Tarangire National Park for a game drive among large elephant herds, ancient baobab trees, lions, zebras, giraffes, and abundant birdlife. Dinner and overnight at Eileen's Tree Inn. Meal plan: Bed & Breakfast.
Day 2
Tarangire to Serengeti National Park
After breakfast, travel through the Ngorongoro highlands to the Serengeti. Arrive in time for an afternoon game drive across the vast plains, searching for lions, cheetahs, leopards, and other wildlife as the sun sets. Overnight at Kumbu Kumbu Tented Lodge. Meal plan: Bed & Breakfast.
Day 3
Full Day in Serengeti, then Ngorongoro
Begin with an early morning game drive to see active wildlife at sunrise, including opportunities to spot the Big Five. Continue exploring the Serengeti after breakfast before driving toward the Ngorongoro Conservation Area in the afternoon. Overnight at Kumbu Kumbu Tented Lodge. Meal plan: Bed & Breakfast.
Day 4
Ngorongoro Crater Tour and Return to Zanzibar
Descend early into the Ngorongoro Crater for a half-day game drive, looking for rhinos, lions, hippos, flamingos, and other wildlife across the crater floor. After lunch, return to Arusha for your evening flight to Zanzibar.
